Volunteer Opportunity: Guitar Mentors

CVESD is starting a Guitar Mentors program at Camarena and Hedenkamp elementary schools. This is a good opportunity for any students with ukulele, guitar, or music technology experience to fulfill their volunteer hours requirement by helping younger students after school.

The program includes group lessons with tutorials from Little Kid’s Rock modern band resources, and recording live music sessions from these practice sessions to be used in our music tech classes.

Since acoustic guitars (steel string), ukes, and digital recording are not center stage in most music programs, please share this with all teachers to publicize this opportunity to all those unknown student musicians out there.

Interested students can email Mr. Collins for more information at bradley.collins@cvesd.org
